I've been making bread at home for many years, a legacy from my lovely Welsh mother who baked bread on an old range at our family home in North Wales. Making bread at home was truly a necessity as our little village was often isolated in poor weather. To add to our childhood bread heaven, we looked forward to the summer visits from the bread van. We were allowed to choose one loaf of bread each, and it was total delight when the doors of the van opened and the smell of warm freshly baked bread burst out.
I've never forgotten the pleasure of having home made bread in our kitchen, or the bread van delivering fresh bread to our door. What could be more perfect? Maybe having biscuits delivered as well...?

THEMES Choose bread and biscuits from our themed selection and you could be eating wonderful Winter Warmer bread, taking July Jewels on a picnic (big black juicy cherry bread and shortcake), or sampling St Patrick's Day specials (bourbon biscuits, black stout bread). There's a different theme every month.
TOAD ROCK TOAD Each pack of biscuits contains its own toad - watch out for him! Don’t panic though, he's made of biscuit.
CELEBRATIONS We also make decorative breads that last for a year or more (depending on how they are stored), for example, at Christmas we can supply plaited bread garlands to hang above your fireplace, table centres with Christmas scenes and interwoven bread platters which look fabulous for seasonal fruit.
TOAD TREATS Choose from our range of Toad Treats and your friends and family could be receiving fantastic gifts, for example, hand delivered animal shaped breads, elegant cocktail flavoured biscuits and gift baskets for special celebrations (or just a night in with a good film).
TOAD TAGS Our Toad Tag scheme allows you a small souvenir of The Toad Rock Bread and Biscuit Company, either to keep or to trade in at a later date. Please see the relevant link for returning your Toad Tags.
We use local, fresh, organic and Fairtrade ingredients where we can. When we use local ingredients we will include a link on our website for you to contact the company should you wish to buy from them directly. We will always support good local food producers, including our local Artisan bread makers who are the real experts and keep the tradition of truly wonderful bread alive.
